Green GEN Cymru joins the Net Zero APPG to Accelerate UK Clean Energy Transition

Green GEN Cymru is pleased to have officially joined the Net Zero All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG), strengthening collaboration between industry leaders, policymakers, and Parliamentarians committed to advancing the UK’s path to net zero carbon emissions.

Co-chaired by Edward Morello MP and Dr Simon Opher MP, the APPG brings together Members of Parliament and Peers from across political parties to drive policy solutions for a net zero economy. The group is focused on accelerating clean growth technologies, relevant climate policies, and fostering inclusive stakeholder engagement across the UK.

Green Gen Cymru’s membership in the APPG highlights our own commitment to ensuring that Wales plays an integral role in shaping the UK’s energy future. With its mission to develop a resilient 100% renewable energy distribution network across Wales, the organisation brings valuable insight on grid infrastructure challenges and regional decarbonisation opportunities.
